Inconsiderate parking

You don't know me without my dog, probably...........!!  My name is Mike and I live in Shirley Close………

I have a number of concerns with regard to inconsiderate parking, I live in Shirley Close where the majority of the homes are holiday lets. I have noticed there is insufficient provision made for the parking of visitors cars, on a number of occasions during the main summer season there has been cars parked on the access roads within Shirley Close. This of course, apart from being inconvenient to the residents that live there, is a health & safety issue. I would like to see owners of these houses make it clearer to the hirers of the limitations for parking at their houses. This Close is at the moment of course un-adopted and as such is a private road, are these details discussed during the planning permission?

I have noticed this year, during my walks around the village the amount of vehicles parked in particular in Church Road. Trying to cross Church Road is a life threatening operation at the height of the season, parked cars on both sides obscure vision to the point that it is a hopeful dash to cross. As your aware there was a serious RTA only two weeks ago, a five car incident. Luckily, I arrived in Church road a few minutes after the event, others weren't so lucky.

On three separate occasions during my walks in West Road, vehicles have got so close that I have felt door mirrors brush the sleeve of my coat. It seems nothing must hold up the "Great God Car" and if it does, some are quite prepared to risk life to progress.
Have you noticed there is no signage in West Road referring to m.p.h., not that it should be necessary really, but some people need telling! Have you noticed the signage in Church Road is either too small or too few or obscured. As is the signage in Main Road………..

Best regards, Mike Langford.
